    My Therapeutic Approach

    I believe that it is important for a therapist to be flexible in working with clients, as each person is a unique individual. I employ a variety of therapies, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal approaches as I tailor the therapy to the needs of the person with whom I work. I actively engage and interact with my clients while working to create a safe atmosphere and a sense of collaboration. You may have tried working with other therapists and found them to simply sit back and listen to you talk. If you have found yourself wanting more engagement in therapy, and not just a passive listener, I am the kind of therapist you are looking for. I encourage and challenge my clients to identify and build upon their strengths so that they may create positive changes in their lives.
